Dr. DeGiulio & Associates have optometrists who can examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye. Optometrists are eye health care professionals who are state-licensed to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the eye and visual system.
Lisa DeGiulio, OD
Owner and Operator
Owner and operator of our practice. Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and member of AOA and RIOA, Dr DeGiulio graduated from New England College of Optometry with the award of Beta Sigma Kappa (BSK) Honor Society. She is currently Board Certified. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College with a BS in Biology, and is a Johnston High Graduate. Some of her hobbies include gardening, golfing, decorating, and spending time with family and friends. She is a big fan of the Patriots and animals! Dr. DeGiulio states that her favorite part of practicing optometry is helping each patient walk out of the office seeing clearer than ever before!
Associate Optometrists
Gerald Glaser, OD
Graduate of the New England College of Optometry, Dr Glaser is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and a former examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Prior to receiving his optometry degree, he received a B.A from SUNY at Stony Brook and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has taught courses in philosophy and psychology at Wheaton College in Norton, MA and also at Rhode Island School of Design, where he continues to teach courses in visual perception. In addition to helping people see better and understand how they see, his other passion is playing jazz trumpet.
Brianna Hacker, OD
A graduate from the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr Hacker is also a member of the American
Optometric Association, and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. She has a special passion for pediatric and developmental optometry. During her time in Optometry school, she received the Good Lite Award for excellence in pediatrics. Her history of Optometry starts from childhood, as her mother Dr DeGiulio would take her to work often. Prior to Optometry school, Dr Hacker studied Biology at Providence College, and was a member of the dance team. She looks forward to assisting each of her patients with all of their visual needs!

Scott Hacker, OD
Graduate of Illinois College of Optometry, Dr Hacker joins us with his exquisite knowledge in the field of Optometry. He joins us as a Beta Sigma Kappa graduate, and is a member of the American Optometric Society, and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. Originally from Wisconsin, Dr Hacker brings a Midwestern spirit to the exam room when treating each of his patients. Prior to Optometry school Dr Hacker studied at The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh graduating with a degree in Biology. In his free time he enjoys video games, archery, and fishing!
